Meet Dr. Lindsay
Jessica Lindsay, MD
Dr. Lindsay is passionate about whole child healthcare. She has always loved building long lasting, trusting relationships with her patients and their families. In 2019, she felt her scope of practice was too narrow for the medical challenges her patients were facing. She then completed an integrative medicine fellowship through the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, which was life changing. She completed over a thousand hours of study, learning about evidence-based therapies in order to better serve her patients. She is well versed in herbs and supplements, and when and why they may (or may not) be beneficial. She understands the mind-body connection and loves educating her patients about how they can help heal themselves when things go off course. She LOVES talking about food as medicine and will suggest what can be done first with improved diets before turning to more traditional modalities. She strongly believes that immunizations are life saving and disease preventing. She values conventional medicine and uses medication when necessary, but also strives to understand what lifestyle factors may be modifiable.
Dr. Lindsay lives in Seattle with her amazing husband and two awesome kids who are a source of great joy and support. Her favorite things are hugs from her family, camping, hiking, yoga, and soaking her feet (or doing a polar bear plunge) in the freezing Nisqually River with her family at Mt. Rainier.
She looks forward to working with your child and welcoming you to the Pediatrics by Design family!
